Expedition Private The Urk Expedition: A Chat Between Foxes

Talinn thought carefully before speaking, wondering if he would be struck down if he were to bring in another beast on the prophecy. He should have asked how these things worked before he was abruptly thrown back into the real world from the afterlife. He would just have to say the words and watch out for any thunderstorms, suddenly violent shaking of the ship, or anything else.

“I...think...bringing in her for consultation may be fine…” He paused, listening for any sign that the Kitsune might be displeased with that, and when nothing happened, continued. “Perhaps you could write a Missertro-”.

At that moment, the ship suddenly shook, struck by a particularly strong wave. Talinn paused, waited for a few moments to see if anyone came rushing in to tell him that the ship had been fatally wounded, then sighed in relief.

...I think perhaps that it is best to tell her about it in person. It seems writing such down is...not encouraged.”

He paused, feeling the sweat on his brow.

“Would you want to hear it now, or in her presence?”

@Silvertongue Songfox

Silvertongue shook his head. “I believe we should wait. I wouldn’t know what to do with such knowledge, and I fear it would only bring me strife not understanding what it meant.”

He stood up. “When we return to the mainland, I can bring Madame Lorelei back and we can discuss this more. If that would be appropriate, sir.”

Talinn give Swift a brief nod.

"Very well then, Silvertongue. You may invite her to my estate when ready, and we can try to put together this puzzle for you. If there is nothing else, you are dismissed."
