PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
A dark red furred vixen with short pointy ears, yellow eyes, a long snout that's bent slightly to the right as if she's trying to sniff out something next to whomever its pointing to. Her fur is ruffled and messy despite her best efforts to make it look fare. Her paws are scratched up and rough for her age, they clearly had to do plenty of work already. She dresses as close as she can for the occasion, but with her limited options it's always clear she has borrowed somebeast's old clothes, with or without concent from the borrower.
PERSONALITY:
A fast talker who is agile in conversation like a squirrel in the trees, but when an uncomfortable situation comes she reveals how much of a calous egoist and schemer she is, which only gets her in more trouble. She knows plenty of people, works with many of them, but doesn't consider them friends and if an opportunity presents itself to betray them for a great reward, she gleefully takes it. She appears to have great respect for authority, while taking advantage of them while they aren't looking.
STRENGTHS:
- Charisma: she plays the unassuming innocent fox kit very well, and can avoid suspission even when some seemingly tough questions get asked.
- Convincing explainer: she can explain how all the evidence pointing towards her is an unlucky coincidence, that she couldn't and would never do such a thing, and present a plausable alternative narrative of the case. And she knows to be consistent in her lies, too.
- Street smart: She knows all the alleys and where they lead, all the good places to hide when people are looking for her for the wrong reasons, and knows who to go to when she needs help.
- Sneaky: you don't notice her coming or going unless she wants you to know.
WEAKNESSES:
- Bland and uninteresting: unless it somehow helps her directly, Irene doesn't know a thing about it. She can only muster out the vagueest, blandest and uninforming statements if one surprised her with a question like "What's your favorite color" or "What do you like to do in your free time?".
- Job averse: she wasn't made to follow orders on the ship, or in an office, or to stock shelves...or seemingly anything that doesn't involve mischief.
- Quick to anger: if something doesn't go her way, she shows her true colors and they aren't pretty. That usually only makes the situation worse, which makes her reactions worse, and she can usually only run away and hide after such an embarrassing display.
- Not the smartest kit: there's only so much you can learn on the streets of Bully harbor, and since she has never needed to count past a thousand, pay taxes on her property, maneuver ministries of the imperium, or take a history test without copying someone else's answer, odds are she doesn't know a thing related to those subjects.
BIOGRAPHY:
Most families have a beast among them who is noteable and they can all feel proud of. According to many members of the Rightsbeast family, there was a great judge from the first days of the imperium who was appropriately named Rightsbeast and from whom they all descend. But from then onwards the troubles begin, because none of the Rightsbeasts agree on anything else about that First Rightsbeast. Everyone claims that he shared their first name, views, and would rule in their favor in whichever dispute they would find themselves in. So would happen that Fedour Rightsbeast would say that the first Rightsbeast's first name was Fedour, that he would like chicken soup just like the descendent he shares his name with, that he drank his cough-e only in the morning and no time else and that he would be very embarrassed of his brother Laskit, who would just as enthusiastically claim that the first Rightsbeast was named Laskit, that he drank nothing but apple sap and water like he did, would have happily seen the current sham of the ministry of justice and really the imperium as a whole restructured, and that he had all but ruled in his land dispute that he was struggling to win for years now. People who found themselves whitness to the internal feud of the Rightsbeast family all agree that the various stories are false, and apparently one of them looked through the archives and didn't find any judge named Rightsbeast or anything close, and the family name Rightsbeast is far younger and is likely an intentional change of last name.
Irene grew up with Fedour Rightsbeast, his wife Ronda and her two older siblings Archer and Liera. One of many rumors circulating among the Rightsbeasts is that Irene and sometimes one or even both of her siblings were not Fedour's kits, but that Ronda had instead cheated with laskit or whichever Rightsbeast was spreading the rumors. Fedour and Ronda both denied it, but it was likely that Fedour at least couldn't shake the possibility out of his head and appreciated Irene far less than his other kits. One day while Irene was playing with other Kits in the slups, an intense fight broke out because some toys went missing, and everyone was pointing claws at one another accusing each other of being a thief. It was bad enough to drag their parents out of their houses, who managed to stop the physical fighting but began a new verbal one. One of irene's neighbors found this a good opportunity to air out his numerous grievences of the Rightsbeast right at the little fox kit but it was loud enough for everyone to hear. Fedour was outraged, and lay the blame of this embarrassing event all on Irene, publically denounced her and through her out of his house. Fedour didn't go unpunished for this deed, he can barely step outside of his house without getting glares and a vicious comment on how he abandons his own kits, but Irene was still without a family, and without a home. She left the slups, and is trying to find a way to survive.
POSSESSIONS/REAL ESTATE:
A shar of broken glass attached to a bit of a wooden frame, likely from a broken window. She uses it as a makeshift dagger. A wooden doll that is meant to resemble a ship's captain, and the various other bits she has snatched up from others.
