Open Side Adventure If You Teach a Kit a Trick

Swifttail watched as Silvertongue carried Finn off to bed, before turning to Kaii.

"Well mate, it's been a lovely evening. I think I'm gonna have a wander round deck then turn in me'self. And thank ye for the wonderous show. I can't claim to know how ye did it, but it truly was a miracle to behold."

He gave the fellow Vulpine a pat on his shoulder, and headed off into the evening air.

"Take care, now!"

Kaii got himself a bit too snuggly in his thoughts, possibly it was the effect of the grog he drank earlier. Pondering the effects of various substances and why some beasts were more susceptible than other was interesting but he missed a moment when Silvertongue snatched the sleepy kit from his lap.

Realisation made him slightly annoyed, a pang of protest tensed up his arms but instantly was snuffed out by the rationality. The kit needed to sleep and he was taken to one. Nothing out of ordinary was going on.

With now stone calm expression he moved to swift, nodding with appreciation at his words and gently wagging his tail. “Tricks and music we shared were fun… but I think we shared something far more important.” He gazed at leaving Silvertongue and Finnian. “Thank you for being here too, get yourself some rest friend, I ought to man the engine for the night.”

Kaii watched then as his comrade-at-tasks left the room. For someone who was too busy working to focus on any relationships and also far too afraid of the prospect of maintaining them, Kaii was very much fine with a night like this. One he would gladly repeat should the opportunity allow.

But for now he also stood up, took a second to level himself by using a level, and then walked back to the engine bay. Already thinking about very important things like using strong alcohol to power a small engine or a strong coffee to power the beasts who would figure them out.
