I’m Ralynn Waverunner, bosun of The Golden Hide. I’ve been roleplaying for about 33 years, since middle school, mostly ttrpgs. I’m almost always the GM/DM, and I’m a huge lover of the Redwall books. So when I saw a post about VI in the Redwall subreddit about VI I checked it out and found a community I really enjoy where I can engage as a player. I work IT professionally, but writing and reading are my real loves and this hobby satisfies both quite nicely!

Oh, tons and tons. Better to say "have played" I suppose because no one wants to play anything but DnD these days it seems lol:

All WoD games (fave is Changeling, with Mage a close second), Dungeon World and several of its various spawn, Blades in the Dark, Candela Obscura, Daggerheart (played the alpha, pre-ordered a copy!), Stonetop, Pathfinder 2e, Robotech RPG and Macross RPG, Paladium games. I have Wanderhome but haven't had a chance to play it yet, same with Roots. Bunch of random ones from when I was a kid in the 90s.

I feel you! I've been stuck as forever DM for a bunch of D&D campaigns because that's where the player base is, but I want to run a lot more different campaigns (I've got PDFs for probably a hundred systems and I doubt I'll get to play half of them). All of those are fantastic games! I've played a fair chunk of oWoD, Blades in the Dark, Savage Worlds, and Pathfinder 1e and 2e, as well as a few smaller RPGs (current fave is called Triangle Agency). Hopefully you get a chance to try both Wanderhome and Roots - they're both on my want list and I'd love to know how they go.

Hahahaha I have a folder on my dropbox called "RPG Systems" and there's dozens of games in there I've never gotten to play but want to. I feel you so much. oWoD is where its at. Haven't cared for any of the others. I have Sam Chupp, one of their big creators from the 90s hey day, on my Facebook friends list. Turns out he was a friend of a friend (North Georgia is a small place, I guess) and we've chatted a few times about games and such. Cool guy!

Maybe we can get a Roots or Wanderhome game going sometime! I run some paid games on startplaying.games, I've thought seriously of advertising one or both at some point. It's a niche crowd, so I'm not sure how many would be interested, but its also an under-served audience so maybe!
