Just a little archive to keep track of what Finn is / has been up to. The threads are attempted to be listed in historical order (according to me), but may not accurately represent canonical history.

These aren't necessarily threads -- but more things that happened in Finny's past.

Summary: The Foskateers gather to rescue Silvie from mysterious and otherworldly circumstances.

Pre-Urk​

[Complete] [Minor] The Festival of Sorrows, a Bully Harbor Holiday
Meets: Babinshaw (NPC), Pomodu
Notes: Technically, thread occurred after the Hide departed for Urk. However, a thread sub-plot between Talinn, Dusk, and Jere placed the thread pre-Urk. This makes Finn 11 years old.
Summary: Finn mourns alone at Oliver's Lantern, and encounters Biddy Babinshaw and Pomodu.

Notes: Takes place the day Finn snuck aboard the Hide
Summary: Finn meets Cricket and Ruffano, and goes on a wild adventure to recover a lost ring.

The Urk Expedition​

Chased onto the Hide by murderous thugs, Finn wakes to find himself a stowaway aboard the Golden Hide. The captain and crew take pity on him, and quickly find work for him in the infirmary. Finn forms a close bond with three other foxes, and sticks with them through thick and thin.

The Hide accomplishes her mission, but at great cost -- Finn serves as a field medic during the Battle of Urk, and takes down a behemoth shrew that breeched the defensive wall. Captain Talinn is severely wounded, and Finn acts as the donor in a primative blood transfusion in an attempt to save his life.

Limping back to Bully, the Hide celebrates her victory in muted fashion -- though the crew is haunted by the idol laying in the belly of the Hide.

The Voyage Out​

[Complete] Apple Crates don't Snore
Meets: Morgan, Vihma, Silvertongue, Talinn, Barrett
Summary: Waking up the morning after the events of "Two Kits in a Trenchcoat", Finn finds himself at sea on the Golden Hide. Morgan and Vihma discover him snoring behind an apple crate, and eventually inform Talinn. After an episode of severe discipline, the Captain takes the opportunity to show grace, and offers Finn a position aboard the Hide.

[Abandoned] The Doctor's In! (And... Very Inexperienced.)
Meets: Swifttail, Kaii
Notes: This thread is a series of vignettes, "fuzzy" in time. It takes largely in the first week of the Urk expedition, and focuses on Finn learning how to help in the infirmary.

Notes: Founding of the Foskateers
Summary: While entertaining the crew one night, Silvie pulls Finn into one of his acts, and is joined by Swifttail and Kaii. The four foxes meet to discuss their past, and forge a close friendship. Finn celebrates with grog, and chaos ensues.

Summary: Morgan hauls Finn off to bed early, and offers to tell him a bedtime story in exchange for his peaceful surrender.

Summary: Darragh is being hazed by a crewmember, and the Foskateers come to his defense.

[Complete] [Minor] A Crack in the Works
Summary: Kaii sustains a minor injury while working on the ship's engine. Finn comes along to bandage his arm.

Day 1: Arrival at Urk​

[Complete] Aggressive Negotiations
Summary: The Hide arrives at Urk, and immediately is met by the native shrews. Morgan attempts to translate, but relations deteriorate rapidly. Finn steals a loaf of banana bread as a peace offering, but it doesn't help matters. A fight breaks out, and many of the crew members fall in the drink. Finn runs to the infirmary to assist Barrett. The shrews suffer a substantial defeat, and the Hide lays waste to the shore village with it's cannons.

Notes: Somewhat concurrent with Aggressive Negotiations
Summary: Finn assists Barrett with those suffering from hypothermia and the wounded. Morgan is greviously wounded. Silvie has a nightmare. Talinn arrives to introduce the Ministry's special medications, and announces plans for a shore party to leave the next morning.

[Complete] Breathing Room
Summary: The night of "Waterlogged", Barrett banishes Finn from the infirmary to force him to sleep. Finn is distraught about Morgan, and can't sleep. Swifttail comes to comfort him, and realizes Kaii may be able to design an invention to save Morgan. The two foxes build a primative one way valve, and save Morgan.

Day 2: Battle of Urk​

[Complete] The Long Watch
Meets: Tultow, Shrewbabe (NPC), Vilde
Summary: The Hide lands on Urk, and quickly sets up a small camp. A marine close to Tultow is killed in short order, and Barrett sends Finn to drill with the lieutenant. Piper and Vihma discover an abandoned Shrewbabe, and take it in, despite Barrett's protest. The shrews attack, and Finn tries his hand at being a field medic. Unable to aide anyone in the field, he helps take down a Shrew Goliath with Kaii and Vilde. Tultow is critically wounded, and Finn assists Barrett. Tensions run high between Barrett and Silvie, and morale suffers. Gyles arrives with a critically wounded Talinn and the Idol. The Hide departs, managing to take many of the dead for a proper burial at sea.

Meets: Gyles
Summary: Finn, Barrett, Gyles, and Darragh work to save Talinn.

[Stalled] [Minor] The Judgement of a Fox
Introducing: Anabelle Brightfur (NPC, Deceased)
Summary: Anabelle meets Talinn in the Dark Forest while he is in limbo during "How to Save a Fox". She apologizes for her youthful tryst with Alwyn, and gives a prophetic message to Alwyn regarding future events in "Out of the Ashes".

Summary: The Hide holds a funeral for those who gave their lives on Urk.

[Complete] When the Dog Bites
Summary: Finn wakes up from a nightmare, and reconvenes with Morgan to catch up after the Battle of Urk.

Post Urk: The Family Arc​

Finn returns triumphantly to Bully Harbor, no longer a street urchin... but Finn accidentally sets in motion a chain of events that will alter his life forever. After Alwyn rescues Finn from a housefire, the young Stoatorian Guard discovers Finn is his illegitimate son. Alwyn takes Finn in, while he works up the courage to break the news to him. Meanwhile, Vulpine Supremacists stage an attack on the Opera, Finn takes part in a daring cupcake heist, assists in a duel, and barely escapes with his life after being sucked into a nine foot tall tumbleweed made of shed fur and static electricity!

[Complete] [Finn Lore] Out of the Ashes
Meets: Alwyn, Dusk
Summary: Finn returns to his childhood home to retrieve his mother's locket. Attempting to find Cricket, he lights off fireworks from the attic, and accidentally sets the house on fire. Cricket, Swifttail, and Alwyn work to save Finn from the fire -- and Alwyn recognizes the locket around Finn's neck as the one he gave Annabelle.

Meets: Mariel
Summary: Finn hangs out with Cricket, and schemes with Mariel to pull off the greatest cupcake heist in Vulpinsula.

Summary: When Greeneye challenges Swifttail to a duel, it calls for a training montage! Finn shows up with Alwyn on day four to help out his old shipmate.

Summary: Finn attends the opera with Alwyn, and chafes at being under the protection of the guard. He sneaks away, and meets up with Cricket, Jesh, and Minerva. While catching up, a Vulpinist explosion rocks the venue. A chaotic battle breaks out, and the supremacists would have foxnapped him -- if not for Alwyn saving the day!

Voyage to Croper's Crove​

Summary: Finn reunites with his shipmates for another adventure aboard the Hide. The mood is high, the sails are set, and Finn is promoted to Aide de Camp. But with the Hide disembarking, Finn searches the crowds for one particular gecko... ...she's not gonna let him leave without saying goodbye, right?
