Open The Frost Fair of 1765

Pomodu started as a greasy-looking ferret suddenly joined them, knocking hot cider onto the fancy-looking vixen and shouting something about red coats and thieves. Pomodu honestly didn't follow all of it, but she glanced down at her own red coat and leaped to a conclusion. "Tee'fu?" she asked, more confused than indignant. "I no a'm tee'fu. I no suteelu anyti'ngu." She looked to Ruffano, her confusion evident, before she gestured to Griblo. "He nee'du hu'gu?" she inquired, her words unclear whether she meant a hug or her Hug™.

Daniil had barely gotten his skates off when Caden grabbed his paw and pulled him along toward the snowy chaos. Daniil felt a surge of panic as he was dragged into the fray. "Caden," he protested, "I'm really not a fan of -" He ducked to avoid another snowball, "- of snow." A childhood prank in which Mileya had lured him into a snowdrift had left him with a long-standing aversion to the substance in any copious amounts. After all, it was cold and wet and got everywhere.
