Please apply below out of character for positions. Feel free to ask about any other kinds of positions you might bring to the table. Limited positions and warrants/officers will be appointed either in character in the roleplay itself or on discussion with the captain if deemed appropriate. We can of course also have small or group threads for signups to introduce your characters to the ship, but you can also feel free to assume you've already been signed on for any of the general positions. We can build the NPCs together to fill in the gaps.

I'm signing Credence Moody up as a gunner/ Master gunner's mate , she does dearly love her guns (and is probably aiming to be the Gunner, or in our parlance Head/Master Gunner eventually).

Signing up Mick as a gunner. He seems to mysteriously know quite a bit about cannons and explosives in general for somebeast who claims to be "simply a blacksmith's son who took a special interest in guns and chemistry".

Fab! Will pop on as AS for now. There can only be one purser so Jesh will likely test all applicants for a while to see how they go > If you'd like Kal to be an engineer, I'd recommend the Hide since that ship has an engine whereas BlackShip is a ye olde sailing vessel.

For anyone else reading this, anyone I've not popped on the roster yet will be pending Jesh accepting positions in character. Most ratings positions I can put straight on the list.

Welcome aboard! Feel free to join Madness Or Brilliance or start your own intro thread. Alternatively, you can ask Callisto (Tox) in the BlackShip channel if there's room to join Hearts of Oak if you'd prefer that one.

From your character sheet, Jesh will likely sign ye as a deckswab for now. He can of course be a musician generally but without points in an instrument at present he's unlikely to appoint Huckle in an 'official' capacity. There be no laws against playing/singing regardless!
