• A sable ferret of average height, with big, soulful dark blue eyes, a pretty, angular face, a missing right fang, a ragged right ear, and a long scar across her left shoulder and collarbone. She typically wears a long, slim woolen black coat over gray pants, a long white shirt with a long slit down the front, a blue checkered waistcoat, and a black belt with a silver buckle. She also wears a black bowler hat, a black cravat, and a silver chain necklace with a locket. The locket contains a small painted portrait of her latest favorite crush, as of Soggus 27th 1765 being an albino ferret clown named Ferlane Fexus, but the person featured in the locket changes constantly.

• An anxious, eccentric weirdo prone to long bouts of self-isolation and paranoid and obsessive tendencies, but also a good and eager person who could even sometimes be outright silly or charming given the right level of comfort and company.

• History
• Born Frimary 7th, 1732 right before the Winter War to sailor, poet and private detective Gideon C. Blayre and his girlfriend, a dockworker and fisherferret named Effanie Talmuth Lafrey. Gideon and his drinking buddy, a monitor lizard named Nichacht Reptilius, had just started the Crossroads Detective Agency together out of a tiny office in the Slups in 1731, solving all manner of murders, thefts and the like for a healthy fee and no small amount of excitement and danger, skirmishing on rooftops and skulking in alleys. The glory days of her father and his friend did not last long. In fact, Nycaria barely got to know either of them. Her father was found floating dead near the Imperial Docks in 1733, just one more Bully Harbor cold case, with his supposed suicide note bemoaning his failed writing career. Not long after, his old friend Nichacht disappeared. The CDA lasted another year, and then its office was reduced to rubble during the Winter War. Nycaria's mother Effanie did her best to raise her up to be a Navy sailor with an ever-changing cast of colorful father figures, and then got her back broke in a dockyard accident when Nycaria was 15. Nycaria cared for her mother for a long, bitter year, and then left to sail aboard the Navy Man-o'-War Tarquin Supership for the next 11 years. In 1758, Nycaria retired from her position as quartermaster and used what she'd saved to get a small apartment in the Slups and plot her next move. She began taking up small jobs- collecting and selling information such as business secrets, engaging in burglary and espionage, taking on cases involving theft, assault and disappearances, and in time taking on abduction and murder cases. Deciding she would reopen her old father's business, she broke into the abandoned Frockbottom Dresses Co. Warehouse and began making it into a series of well-supplied offices to serve as a very secretive headquarters, fearful of what happened to her father and Nichacht Reptilius happening to her. She dreams of solving what happened to them both, as well as bringing the CDA to greater heights than ever before, and has as of Soggus 27th 1765 officially opened recruiting.
