Physical Description
Mina Rose Brewer, commonly called Mina Rose by family or just Mina by friends, is a cheerful young vixen with orange fur slightly long on her head and a white underbelly. Her green eyes set her apart from her parents' brown ones, and are most often commented upon as her most distinctive trait, other than her constant smile. Her dark-tipped ears are both pierced with small silver studs, a gift for her eighteenth nameday, and she typically wears shades of yellow, orange, and purple, especially while waiting tables at her parents' tavern in the East Tookumberry Keys.
Inventory and Real Estate
At current, all Mina really has to her name are the clothes on her back. Following the destruction of her parents' tavern, she has lost all of the trinkets and possessions she's acquired, and now finds herself a stranger in a strange land.
Personality
Mina is a bubbly and, perhaps, a bit naive fox, unaccustomed to the harsher side of the world. While she's occasionally found herself in a barroom scrap and needed to bring a serving tray down over a beast's head or toss a hot grog in their face, she generally greets beasts with a warm, welcoming smile rather than hostility or trepidation. She has yet to grow callous in response to the adversity of the world, leaving her ill-prepared for the rough environment of Bully Harbor.

Strengths
Mina's greatest strength is, in a way, her innocence; for beasts with even a shred of a conscience, willfully taking advantage of such naiveté and trust can be a bridge too far. While her goodwill and trust in the goodness of beasts is entirely due to a sheltered environment, she maintains a cheerful optimism that the world has not yet broken.
Weaknesses

Mina's greatest strength is also her greatest weakness. She is far too trusting of the inherent goodness of the world and the beasts in it, leaving her liable to be taken advantage of by the unscrupulous. She has yet to develop a reasonable wariness or self-preservation, a necessary skill for survival in a town as rough as Bully Harbor. She also has little in the way of self-defense training, leaving her vulnerable to the predation of the wicked.

History
Mina Rose grew up in the East Tookumberry Keys, raised by a loving couple in their apartment above their small tavern, the Wanderer's Way. Largely serving sailors and merchants, Mina grew up hearing stories and tall tales of places all over the world, and swiftly became a favorite audience to many a captain. When she got old enough to help around the tavern, she swiftly began to accrue significant tips from the clientele, most of whom treated the young vixen like a favored niece and protected her just as fiercely from any unsavory visitors, throwing out anyone who acted untoward before the vixen's father even had to lift a finger. Mina put aside most of her earnings first to fund a planned trip around the world, and later, as she got older and plans for travel fell to the wayside, for a future wedding and small home with her intended, a local smith's apprentice named Geremy. Still, even as an uneventful future closed in on her, her dreams of seeing the world never quite faded away.

All her plans shattered the day a new ship sailed into port and a crew of pirates from the Red Fleet raided the town. Mina was fortunate enough to flee in time to escape, urged on by her parents, and took refuge in the jungle. When she returned to town, she found that her parents' tavern had been plundered and then burnt down, both her parents slaughtered inside and Geremy, who had run to protect her when he saw the flames, murdered outside the door. She might well still be in the East Tookumberry Keys, destitute and futureless, had not the most unexpected vixen arrived to take her away - former admiral Tanya "Tox" Ironblade.
