Open The Bilge In The Bucket Lute in the Bucket

Silvertongue nodded. "Alright, I can work with that." He didn't really care where he performed either, he just needed to pay off his debts. "Most of these bars are unpleasant to be in anyways."

Pomodu's eyes brightened at the mention of a ship, following after. "You go to di Goh'de'n Hi'de!" she exclaimed. "Di sailusu ah ma'de fuom di Hi'desu o'f enemiesu wi't goh'd fuh! I'su bi'g a'su city!" She threw out her arms to emphasize the size, inadvertently knocking over a beast who, after falling into a coma during a fight in the Bilge three months prior, had only just regained consciousness and stood up to be rendered comatose by Pomodu for another three months.
There was a faint wince from the badger at Pomodu's accidental victim, but Till was quickly back to processing what the red panda had just told them. The Golden Hide having gold fur sails they could just about believe, if a little bit concerning, but for it to be as big as a city? Till somewhat doubted either Pomodu's sources and/or description.

"I look forward to seeing zis ship. If it's as big as you say, zey should have room for a beast like me."

"You just have to find the right tavern," Caden offered to Silvertongue. "The further you get from the docks and from the Slups, the better they get."

Asta nudged Caden. "Tavern near home, what calling it?"

"The Frog's Gizzard?"

"Ja," she nodded and turned to Silvertongue. "We play at Frog's Gizzard? Same day, uh..." Asta trailed off, unable to find the words in Vulpinsulan. She had a quick conference with Caden in Varangian interspersed with Vulpinsulan words before continuing with more confidence. "Playing together there same day next week in afternoon?"

Pomodu's smile, if directed through a magnifying glass, could have started a fire that would likely consume the whole of the Slups. "I'su di shi'pu o'f heroe'su!" she enthused. "Di goh'den fo'xu Anatiyasa, di lovahsu Tanaya a'n'du Jesahalu, di Ro'gue Arimana - dey a'llu go de're. You go be hero too!" she encouraged.

She glanced down at Till's frying pan, then looked up, scanning the tavern in confusion. "Dey ah a'llu Si'ahnu'su?" she asked, perplexed. "I tinuku di Bea'tu Si'ahnu Day no i'su foh many monutu'su."

Till's brow raised at Pomodu's continued enthusiasm. This certainly did sound a ship of excitement, whatever its truth. They didn't know much about becoming a hero, but if they could do some good in this world (mostly through the medium of cooking) they were blinking well going to try. She followed Pomodu's gaze to the implement stashed in her belt.

"Beat A ... Sian Day"? Is zat a holiday here?" It sounded a worrying one, unless a Sean/Sian* was a label she didn't know of for ruffians or a particular gang. "I'd rather not beat anybeast, Sian or not. My pans should be for cooking. It is a shame I have to wield it so. Maybe next time I will employ a spicy pepper."

((* For newbeasts reading us, it is indeed Beat A Sean Day, but both Pom and Till are foreigners getting confuddled))

Silvertongue nodded. "Same time next week. Of course, Asta. It was a pleasure to meet you." He bowed his head both to her and her father.

"And, I am sorry, for all the trouble I caused. I truly am."
