DESCRIPTION:
Helskyge is decently muscular and broadly built, standing at 6 feet tall. He has dark blue tattoo stains on his arms and around his eyes, with his right upper jaw bone area having a single long scar on it. He wears a simple vest made of cloth and gray wolf fur, as well as simple cloth pants with a skirtlike cloth above them bound in rope. He also has pauldrons made of a mixture of iron, wolf leather, and bones that he wears on his shoulders. He is equipped with three weathered spears made of a brownish metal and pine wood, a handaxe of the same materials, and a splintering shield of the same materials. He also has a simple hunting knife to use for skinning or scrimshaw.
BIOGRAPHY:
Helskyge comes from a barbarian tribe out in the Northlands. In that tribe, he primarily fought against other tribes, including a duel with another rival wolf tribe of which he got the fur for his clothing from. He also helped to provide much of their food supply with his skills of foraging and hunting for fish with his spears. However, his aggressiveness tended to get him in trouble with his tribe at home, and after he had severely injured an important member of his tribe in a brawl, he was banished. This prompted him to leave the northlands to find other lines of work that could put his skills to use. For personality, Helskyge is quick to anger and very direct in his demeanor, but he is also prone to be jubilant in battle and in any celebratory environment. He also holds a deep sense of honor and despises the usage of gunpowder weapons, seeing them as cheating due to their ease of use. He also does not have a good grasp of Vulpinsulan and tends to instinctively revert to speaking his native tounge for a few words in some sentences, and he almost speaks it exclusively when fighting. He also can't read.
