History
Bloodsnout was never meant to be a pirate. He began his life on the merchant routes, plying the trade lanes from the southern ports to the markets of Vulpinsula. A ferret with a sharp tongue and a keen nose for profit, he learned the rhythms of commerce before he ever learned the rhythm of combat. His paws grew calloused not from rope burns and salt spray, but from tallying sums, balancing cargo, and cutting deals across crowded docks.Picture Unavailable

History
But Bloodsnout wanted more. He was not content with the steady trickle of coin that came from honest shipping. He hungered for wealth, power, fame! All the things whispered of in the smoky corners of taverns when tales of piracy were told. He wanted to be feared, to be known. The honest life would never give him that.
So, when Ironpaw’s fleet crossed his path, Bloodsnout abandoned his post without hesitation. He deserted his merchant ship, throwing away years of steady trade, and pledged himself to piracy. He was promised spoils beyond imagining. Power. A captain’s place. Glory.
The reality was slower, harsher. He fought and killed, yes, but Ironpaw’s fleet was a hierarchy. Loyalty was rewarded, but favor was fickle. Bloodsnout rose to command, but he never became Ironpaw’s chosen. That honor was Ashfoot’s. Nor did he win the sly respect of beasts like Chokra. Instead, he was mocked for his short temper, cursed for his constant need to prove himself.
His name was earned in fury: Bloodsnout. The story tells that during an attempted mutiny among his own crew, he fought with such rage that he split his muzzle open on another beast’s blade, and kept fighting with blood pouring down his snout until the deck was slick with it. When the battle was over, the mutineers dead, he stood triumphant, his teeth red and his eyes wild. From that day, the name clung to him.
The Redfang is his prize, a swift vessel painted with snarling jaws along her hull. He drives his crew mercilessly, always trying to outdo the other captains and prove himself to Ironpaw. To prove that he deserves more. But every victory tastes bitter, because no matter how hard he tries, he is always in Ashfoot’s shadow, always behind Chokra’s charm.
Bloodsnout is not content to be another captain in Ironpaw’s fleet. He burns for recognition, for validation, for the wealth and power he was promised. And that burning leaves him prone to fits of rage, the kind that blind him to caution, the kind that make him dangerous not only to his enemies, but to his allies as well.
One day, he swears, they will all choke on his name.
