Physical Description
A hardened, fearsome warrior, Callix bears numerous scars and more than one missing scale. She has one milk-white eye with a scar running over it courtesy of the civil war. Her scales are pale blue in colour with a red-dyed throat, somewhat faded with age. Outside of her Fogey uniform, she still likes to wear a purple tunic as she once wore in her tribe, for which she saves all her gilders to pay for the dye when necessary. She will wear her culture’s headdress openly on special occasions and otherwise wear red feathers beneath her black beret on duty. Callix paints her scales with varying colours and symbols depending on her mood and spiritual feelings, although this is harder to see beneath her uniform.
Inventory and Real Estate
Tribal-designed spear – of course the original spear she came to Vulpinsula with has long since been destroyed but Callix replaces and repairs as she sees fit. To every spear she ties a well-washed rag that is a piece from the departed Blinky’s blanket.
Fogey truncheon.
Paints/dyes.
Fogey wage and uniform.
For many years, Callix lived in a cave along the coastline, but as she rose higher in the ranks of the Fogeys she was eventually convinced to live among the citizens of Bully Harbour, from the Slups and eventually into the lowest class of home in the Barracks.

Personality
The Imperium is Mother. The Imperium is Father. Callix is stoic and unwaveringly loyal to the VI. After she was cast out by her tribe, though it took her time to trust any mustelids, the Imperium welcomed her to its borders. She found her purpose among the Fogeys and has only ever felt secure following rules. Humour is difficult for Callix unless she is inebriated or extremely comfortable with someone. She rarely gets close to others after so many losses to plague and war. She can be excessively violent in her action of the law. Where many Fogeys might be considered a joke, she is one who makes beasts think twice.
Strengths
Physically, she is strong and an experienced fighter. She cannot be bribed or persuaded out of her duty. Callix is one of the most surprisingly trustworthy creatures in the Imperium, if she is on your side. There is compassion in her if you dig deep, maybe not even that deep.
Weaknesses
She is overzealous and not very intelligent, which is why she has never risen higher than being a Fogey on the street. However, she would not have it any other way. To her, a desk job is a failing and a retirement. She has not found the chance to experience life much outside of work.
History
So far as can be gleaned from Callix's history, she was once a guardsbeast for a small island fort comprising of a native tribe of primitive monitors, ruled by a band of witless vermin. The day came when the tribe agreed to take back the island and she, along with her brother, were responsible for the death of the lead ferret. Sadly, the uprising had been a plot devised by the second-in-command, an arrogant and cunning weasel, who twisted the mob-mind of the tribe against Callix and her brother, blaming them for the leader's death. Her brother was slain, and Callix - though managing to mortally wound the weasel leader moments beforehand - was cast from a high rock into the ocean.
Sometime later, the bedraggled form of the female monitor washed ashore in Bully Harbour where the Imperium determined her fate. After being introduced to Bouillabaisse's lifestyle by the Golden Hide's Xhavek Mokorai, Callix sought out a means of making a living, eventually leading her to take up the role of a Fogey law enforcement member. Backed up by the combination of her previous experience as a guard, her natural loyalty and the Imperium's dire need for policing, she was quickly promoted to constable.
Before the newer Imperium, Callix spent her time in the wilderness outside of the Harbour gates, sleeping in a cave not too far off the main road between Bully and Amarone. On-duty, she roamed the streets at an extremely leisurely pace, mostly due to her Fogey partner - the esteemed narcoleptic stoat, Cadet Blinky.
When Blinky died, Callix kept his extremely stinky blanket and eventually had washed it enough that she could attach a scrap of it to her spear in his memory.
Life hardened Callix, her relationships fleeting, her work all-consuming. With the plague and the civil war, it was a tough few decades. It was likely survival and guts alone that eventually granted her the position of a squad captain, the highest rank that still allowed her to patrol the streets.
It has been a strange old life, seeing the changing of the times as woodlanders were welcomed into the once vermin-only city. Perhaps even stranger than having to deal with all these blasted squash-happy doors.
