PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
In a word, Teague is unremarkable. At best, he is of average height and build, appearing neither particularly lithe and strong nor sickly. His fur is a deep brown darkening to black on his paws, tail, and ears, with an irregular splash of pale cream on his chest and neck. His eyes are a dark golden brown.
He wears plain clothing in neutral colors, though a close examination would reveal that they are all of good quality. Exactly what one might expect to find on a beast connected to a family of some power, even if that power is so very far from their own paws. He wears no ornament and little color, and even the pair of long knives on his belt are simply made despite their obvious craftsmanship.
PERSONALITY:
Quiet, unassuming, and self-contained are all words various members of the Freemont family might use to describe Teague. No one outside of the family remembers enough about him to have formed any opinion. Teague himself, if forced to provide an answer, would describe himself as a beast with a rich inner life: one he has cultivated from a very young age.
STRENGTHS:
Observant: The less you speak, the easier it is to keep your eyes open and your ears perked. There is little that occurs around Teague that he is not aware of.
Adaptable: Circumstances change. The unexpected happens. The counted upon fails to happen. Teague will cobble together a plan B... C... D... Z...
WEAKNESSES:
Isolated: Caught between worlds, a great number of beasts feel comfortable relying upon Teague, but there are vanishingly few who could provide the same for him, and fewer still he might be able to consider a friend.
Footsoldier: His is not to question why. His is but to do or die. Whatever he may privately think of the orders he is given.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born out of wedlock to a Freemont cousin who did not survive childbirth, Teague was taken in as a ward of the family. Not being particularly charistmatic or blessed with astonishingly good looks, and never exhibiting the kind of wily ambition or physical prowess that might have made him valuable as yet another public-facing Freemont, the heads of the family chose instead to capitalize on his natural unobtrusiveness and subtlety. While those who might encounter him while on business in the Freemont holdings might write him off as nothing more than yet another retainer, he has been trained as a fixer, with everything that entails.
POSSESSIONS/REAL ESTATE:
A pair of long knives, unornamented but finely crafted: they would keep their edge even if their owner were not so careful to maintain them.
A pair of rooms in the Freemont family manor, located where it is unclear if he is a low-ranking family member or a trusted servant.
