Physical Description
Lily is a slight fox with orange fur, white underside, and black 'sock' markings on her paws and footpaws alike, with dark markings on her brushtip and eartips to match. Her most distinguishing features are her tattoos, several of which are located in places unlikely to be seen by the general public. The two most easily seen and recognizable are one on her neck of a pink flower with a green vine (meant to be a lily after her namesake, but, being inexpertly executed by a novice tattoo artist, came out looking more like a rose instead), and, on her left upper arm, a design of a pawprint atop the old Vulpinsulan Skull, a symbol used among some vulpine supremacist groups. Her other most distinguishing feature is her dour expression, a certain amount of resentful disgust permanently etched on her features. She typically wears corsets and more revealing tops and skirts fitting to her work in taverns; when she needs to act decisively, she has a shoulder pauldron and plated arm guards that slip on quickly and serve her fighting style well.
Inventory and Real Estate
-Barmaid dresses and tops; leather corsets; light protective armor
-A thin knife for when combat ensues
-A paltry amount of coin; most of her earnings get taken or claimed by the leaders of the movement
Personality
Lily is, like most who succumb to the rhetoric of demagogues, an angry and resentful beast. The wounds and indignities she's suffered and continue to suffer have made her hateful of the world and prone to lashing out; that has been directed, often by her own abusers, against those she has been told is responsible for that pain, namely woodlanders and mustelids. In truth, Lily doesn't really known any woodlanders or mustelids well enough to hate them personally; she's been fed a consistent narrative that blames the two groups for every injustice that has ever befallen her (at the paws of her family and acquaintances, all of them foxes, of course), leaving her isolated, radicalized, and spiteful.
Strengths
Lily's greatest weakness, her atrophied critical analysis skills, are in a way key to her greatest strength, that being her stubbornness. Her obstinate refusal to acknowledge what she sees before her, namely the thamonity of the mustelids and woodlanders around her, keeps her locked into and focused on the tasks that her fellow vulpine supremacists give her.
Weaknesses
Lily is actually a far smarter beast than she believes; the problem is that she's been conditioned not to use that intelligence except where, when, and how the todds who control her direct her to do so. The conditioning from a lifetime of abuse has left her scared, angry, and violent, and seeking an outlet for those emotions - one given through the vulpine surpremacist movement. In truth, she hates the abusive todds who exert power over her far more than she hates woodlanders or mustelids, but unlike woodlanders and mustelids, she's been raised to feel powerless to strike back at the todds around her. If she can break free of their control, she might even rediscover herself and her own capabilities; that would require deconstructing everything she's ever been told, though, which would be a terrifying prospect for her.
History
Lily was raised in the Trenches by a father who drank too much, thought he was far smarter than he actually was, and took out his frustration at the world on his wife and kits, all while blaming mustelids for all of his own woes. Lily's mother, a vixen who resented her children for tying her to their father nearly as much as she hated her husband, was hardly better, though her abuse was at least only verbal and psychological, as opposed to her husband's preferred methods. In particular, Lily was the focus of both parents' hatred; both blamed her unplanned and out-of-wedlock conception for trapping them with each other and in circumstances they saw as beneath them, and took out that resentment on her the most.
By the time she'd reached her teenage years, Lily had already internalized a lot of unhealthy behavior and coping mechanisms, as well as deeply rooted self-hatred. She began to replicate many of her parents' worst characteristics, bouncing between the arms of various todds who treated her just as bad, or even worse, than her parents, and numbing herself with drink when the pain got too much. Eventually, when she got old enough to be legally considered 'on her own', her parents tossed her out, leaving her to fend for herself. It was shortly after this that one of her toddfriends introduced her to the vulpine supremacist group The True Heirs, based out of a seedy tavern in the Slups.
At first, the Heirs seemed welcoming to Lily - and indeed, at least in public, they were typically far more cordial to her than most of the beasts she'd known in her life. It wasn't until she was deeper into the organization, drawn in by promises of a world in which foxes would finally be given the respect they were due, that many of those in the organization started to show their true faces, behaving just as cruelly as everyone else who had ever used and abused Lily. By this point she'd done far too many acts to prove her loyalty for her to possibly back out; as bad as being with the Heirs was, being cast out on her own was even more terrifying.
Lily quickly proved herself useful serving ale at the group's tavern, as well as performing other duties that, while humiliating and degrading, weren't far off from what she was already used to from the todds in her life. Soon one of the Heirs had the idea to send her to other taverns around the Slups to spy on competition. She's spent the last few years working at numerous supremacist and criminal-aligned taverns across the district, most recently the Lilting Lily tavern run by the Furotazzi Family, as well as the Skull House, a tavern aligned with the Venges, one of the Heirs' rivals in the vulpine supremacist movement.
It was at Skull House that Lily met Calaisee, a leader in the Venges, who took an interest in Lily. The Venges had a far different philosophy toward femmes than the Heirs; they at least espoused equal treatment of todds and vixens alike. This was enough to make Lily reconsider her loyalty to the Heirs, and when the latter group's tavern burned down during a Stoatorian Guard raid, she took a chance and fled to the Venges. Now, with the surviving Heirs looking for her, Lily is once more dependent on a group for her survival and protection, and will desperately enact their will, whatever they ask of her, to keep it that way.
