General Character Creation Rules

1. Your character accounts must be named the same as your characters.

2. Your character are not immortal
and they are not invincible, do not write them as such or your character could be rejected or have edits made to them by the VI staff. Try to give them appropriate strengths and weaknesses, the skill system is a helpful tool to figure this out.

3. Please try to keep a decent color scheme for your character for the time period, this would be natural colors. Divergent furred/scaled characters are allowed via dyeing their fur and this will be allowed conditionally as long as it is tasteful, e.g. no rainbow colored characters or other designs aka “sparkledogs”.

4. You must use the standard character creation template unless given approval by the VI staff, see the Character Creation Guide.

 5. No AI Art is allowed for pictures of your character if you include them. You may, however, use character building tools such as Heroforge that do not infringe upon the rights of artists or free art templates provided you have the permission of the artist. The VI also has a list of recommended, relatively cheap anthropomorphic artists on request.

6. The VI Staff ultimately has the approval to reject or approve a character for any reason or no reason, but if you feel the decision is unfair you may appeal to the head administrator.
